Mr. Mehdi has an over 40 years of experience and expertise in Financial Sector, Investment & Development Banking, Branch Banking and Capital Market as well as he has vast experience in corporate governance, policy formulation & development, project appraisal implementation, monitoring & evaluation, restructuring and collaboration with international agencies. He has first class record in academic qualifications and holds Masters degree from Karachi University, Diploma in Banking (DAIBP) from Institute of Bankers in Pakistan, obtained Second Position in Order of Merit, Bookkeeping & Accountancy Intermediate, London Chamber of Commerce. He worked with NDFC (DFI) as Chairman and in senior positions, was looking after the entire Operational and Managerial activities of NDFC including Treasury, Banking, Branch Operation, Capital Market, IT, Loaning functions including appraisal implementation and recovery, Projects Finance, Administration & Human Recourses Divisions. He was actively involved in computerization of NDFC working and operations, remained involved in process of Amalgamation / Merger of NDFC with NBP under section 47(B) of Banking Companies Ordinance 1962, Developed and implemented Severance Package for NDFC employees along with SBP, Finance Department GOP and World Bank. Has also worked as Financial Advisor and Consultant for and on behalf of many groups, Mr. Mehdi has worked with the Honorable High Court of Sindh – Karachi for many years as “Member Finance” reporting directly to Honorable Chief Justice of Sindh.
Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Jatoi is a seasoned Civil Servant and presently posted as ‘Finance Secretary, GoS’. He remained as Principal Secretary & Additional Secretary in Chief Minister Secretariat Sindh, Secretary in SGA & CD, Coordinator EOC, in Health Department, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Hyderabad & Jacobabad. He also remained Deputy Director Food Bahawalpur, Deputy District Shahpur, Chakwal & Malkwal with Govt of Punjab and as Secretary in several departments of GoS, in furtherance to other important positions in GoS.
Mr. Abdul Rauf Chandio joined Sindh Modaraba Management Limited (SMML) as Chief Executive Officer on 10th July 2024. He holds a Master’s degree and brings over three decades of diversified corporate and investment banking experience. Before joining SMML as CEO, he held senior leadership roles at Sindh Bank Limited, where he served as SEVP and Group Business Head. He was on Board of Sindh Microfinance Bank and Sindh Modaraba, in addition to key management positions held at Summit Bank, PICIC, National Development Finance Corporation and United Bank Limited. Mr. Chandio has an extensive expertise spanning both conventional and Islamic banking, with proven capability in developing strategic alliances, driving business growth and aligning organizational objectives with market opportunities. His leadership is defined by a deep understanding of diverse business sectors and a consistent track record of delivering sustainable results in the financial industry.
Mr. Ejaz Akhtar Ansari has more than 34 years of experience in banking and other financial institutions of the country and served in various senior positions. He holds MBA Finance degree from University of Punjab and Diploma in Banking (DAIBP) – Institute of Bankers in Pakistan. He was also associated with Emirates Islamic Bank (Dubai), National Bank of Pakistan, National Development Finance Corporation and he also served as Nominee Director in various financial / Non-financial institutions.
Mr. Sami ul Haq Khilji has a diversified experience of 43 years in Public and Private Sector Entities. He has served Sindh Bank Limited as a Director. He was a former Federal Secretary to the Government of Pakistan. He served District Management Group (DMG) for over 36 years and worked for several senior level positions. He also represented at various multinational and bilateral forums such as United Nations, World Bank and numerous Climate Change Protocols. He holds Master Degree in Development Economics from University of Wisconsin USA and Master Degree in Sociology from University of Punjab.
Mr. Kamal Ahmed has more than 30 years of experience of insurance sector in Pakistan. Being an insurance professional, he has good exposure to the market and has a fair idea of risk profiles of various business sectors /entities operating in the country. Mr. Ahmed is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan and has completed Directors Training Program from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Ms. Naila Asad Shaikh holds MBA degree in Finance. She joined Sindh Bank in December 2013 and has an overall banking experience of more than 18 years. Prior to joining Sindh Bank, she was associated with Albaraka Bank Limited, JS Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited, PICIC & mybank Limited.
