Mr. Abdul Rauf Chandio | Director & Chief Executive Officer 
Mr. Abdul Rauf Chandio joined Sindh Modaraba Management Limited (SMML) as Chief Executive Officer on 10th July 2024. He holds Master’s degree and possesses more than 32 years of diversified corporate banking experience. Prior to joining SMML, he served Sindh Bank limited as SEVP, Group Business Head for over 09 years. He also remained the Director on the Board of Sindh Micro Finance Bank. He was also associated with Summit Bank for 06 years, National Development Finance Corporation for 13 years & United Bank Limited for 05 years.
Mr. Chandio has an extensive exposure to a cross section of business industries, conventional and Islamic banking. He has served at senior management positions and is an expert to create strategic alliance with organization leaders to effectively align with and support key business initiatives in the financial sector.
 

Mr. Ishfaque Ahmed – Head of Legal & SAM
Mr. Ishfaque Ahmed is Head of Legal & SAM. He served Sindh Modaraba Management Limited as CEO. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Law Degree (LLB) & Banking Diploma Part-I from The Institute of Bankers in Pakistan.  He started his banking career from United Bank Limited in 1985. He served UBL for 12 years, My Bank & Summit Bank for 9 years and Sindh Bank for 10 years. He possesses relevant experience in Islamic & Conventional branch banking, Operational management and Regulatory and legal compliance. He also remained associated with Law Firm as an Advocate for a period of six years, handled banking recovery cases in both High Court and Banking Courts. 


Mr. Adnan Shakeel – CFO & Co. Secretary
Mr. Adnan Shakeel is serving as the Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary in Sindh Modaraba. He commenced his career in 2008. He has nearly 14 years of diversified working experience in various senior positions in Modaraba and the Auditing Sector. He has an extensive exposure in financial forecasting, IFRS standards, budgeting, planning and secretarial compliance.
He is a CA-finalist and a member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA). He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and has a procurement certification from Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA). Prior to joining Sindh Modaraba, he remained associated with Grant Thornton Anjum Rehman, Chartered Accounts.


Mr. Mujahid Ali Mirza – Head of Risk Management
Mr. Mujahid Ali Mirza joined Sindh Modaraba in February 2020 as Head of Risk Management. He has over 30 years of versatile experience in marketing, product development, credit and risk. He started his career in 1990 in leasing industry and have worked for Atlas (BOT) Lease Ltd, Crescent Leasing Corporation Ltd. and ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd. He has also worked in National Finance SAOG, Muscat, Oman for a period of five years as Branch Controller and Head of Risk before relocating to Pakistan.
Mr. Mirza holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Karachi University and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance from CIE, Darul Uloom, Karachi. He has attended international courses and seminars in Dubai and Tokyo, Japan and have also appeared in management and corporate seminars within Pakistan.


Mr. Faraz-uz-Zafar – Head of Compliance 
Mr. Faraz has been with Sindh Modaraba from the inception of its operations. He has more than 23 years of working experience in different financial institutions like Modaraba, Mutual Fund, Commercial Bank, Microfinance Bank and Leasing Company. During the course of his career he has worked in various different departments like Compliance, Risk Management, Treasury & Finance. Mr. Faraz holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration-Finance.


Mr. Imtiaz Rashid Ansari – Head of Administration
Mr. Imtiaz Ansari joined Sindh Modaraba in Feb 2015 and presently working as Head of Administration. Before joining the company, he worked in Gharo Textile Mill, Ansari Sugar Mills and Malik K Awan KSE with a combined work experience of 34 years. Mr. Ansari holds M.A and MBA degree from Sindh University Jam-shoro Hyderabad. He has a versatile experience in the field of Administration, Procurement and Marketing.

Ms. Kiran Hassan – Chief Internal Auditor
Ms. Kiran Hassan joined Sindh Modaraba in October 2022. She is a fellow member of ICMAP and an associate member of ACCA. She has more than 14 years of diversified experience in finance, risk management, and audit. Prior to joining Sindh Modaraba, she was associated with Cyan Limited, Orix Leasing, Alkaram Textile, First Women Bank Limited, and Griffin Nagda (UAE).
